Their apprehensions, occurring at three SportPesa locations in Nairobi, came after searches conducted earlier this week by Kenyan officials seeking paperwork related to the company’s recently reinstated online betting activities. The company is presently engaged in a legal dispute with the government, seeking to reverse the suspension of its Kenyan operations. This measure transpires amidst a clampdown on non-compliant betting and gaming firms in Kenya, with Interior Minister Fred Matiang’i reaffirming the government’s resolute position against such endeavors.
